I would just like to add a few words to the notice from Pearle below. Mark Van Dyke passed away in February aged 59. Taken by cancer. Some of you may not know that he was the leading player of all time at the ACC Internet Tournaments. He was the first eGrandmaster there. Mark was also a a family man and despite his amazing prowess at cribbage the game of golf was his greatest love. I played Mark many times, both on this site and also in the ACC Internet tournaments. It was always a red letter day for me if I managed to beat him! He was a very strong player and, my goodness, he played very fast too. As godiva observed below he was always the most courteous of players and he took a real interest in his opponents. He was a true example to us all and will be remembered with much affection. I always looked forward to seeing Mark, he was such a good player, quick, so kind and polite. I knew when Mark, loosespokes, joined my tourney, I would be the lucky one, he always had a kind word for me. I will surely miss him, such a shock. We have lost many since I started here and always my pleasure to have known them. Rest in peace Mark, my prayers for him and his family. Spicii
